West Hawaii Region uses Epic, a secure, comprehensive EMR system that lets our care teams access and update your medical information in real time, helping ensure safe, efficient, coordinated care.
Epic securely stores your full medical history, including diagnoses, medications, test results and treatment plans, so your care team stays informed and aligned whether you’re in the hospital, a clinic or transferring to another facility. Your information is available to authorized providers across the West Hawaii Region and beyond, improving communication between care teams and supporting continuity of care, with updates made instantly and securely to minimize paperwork and reduce the risk of error.
Epic also connects to MyChart, our patient portal, where you can view test results, request prescription refills, communicate with your care team and manage appointments. To learn more about MyChart, click here.
