Our Patient Financial Services team works directly with your insurance company to get your claim submitted and paid as quickly as possible. Once your insurance has processed a claim, you’ll receive a separate statement for each hospital visit with any remaining balance. Please remember that you’re ultimately responsible for that balance, whether or not you have insurance.
If paying your bill is a challenge, we’re here to help. We offer several payment options, and you may qualify for financial assistance based on need. Reach out to our Financial Counselor to talk through your options and get an application started.
Your bill covers everything you received during your stay, which generally falls into two categories: a basic daily rate (room, meals, nursing care, housekeeping, phone, TV) and charges for other services your physician ordered, like labs, imaging or pharmacy.
You may also receive separate bills from specialists you didn’t see in person — pathologists, radiologists, cardiologists, anesthesiologists and others who read your tests or supported your care behind the scenes. If you have questions about one of those bills, call the number printed on the statement.
